Tours in the castle

The late Renaissance chateau was built at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries by rebuilding the original medieval fortress. The current classicist form was given to the building by the family of the Counts Kinský, who bought the Lešná estate in 1887. The chateau became their ancestral seat, and great care was taken not only of the building itself, but also of the adjacent English park, which has since boasted a number of rare exotic trees. The chateau itself boasts a unique painted ceiling, original Baroque floor and furniture from the time when the Counts Kinský family lived here (the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries). Among the gems are the richly inlaid secretary and the rare balustrade railing.

The historical interiors can be visited as part of a guided tour. Families with children will certainly enjoy the relaxation and entertainment offered in the chateau's games room.

Tours always start on the hour, i.e. 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00 (last tour). The castle closes at 17:00.
